Our Story. About CML Academy
Originating as a medical aesthetics practice in 2014, we have always believed in educating, training and certifying our own staff prior to sending them to operate out-of-clinic. Throughout the years, our training and development team has built a training guide, used to this day.
Once we began franchising, we quickly adapted our training curriculum to fit anyone from all walks of life – whether they came from an engineering background or a nail salon, we made sure our curriculum was comprehensible, adaptable, and most importantly, offered individual attention thanks to our intimate training sessions.
Naturally, the next step was launching an academy geared towards those passionate about the medical aesthetics industry and are looking for a quick solution to enter the world of laser and medical skincare.

Laser Technician Certificate

Yes! Our class schedules are very flexible and we currently have Saturday classes that are available and run from 10am – 4pm.
Absolutely! Our courses are designed to ensure employability post completion of your course. Additionally, graduates are given priority consideration for positions within the Canada MedLaser Franchise.
While we do encourage entrepreneurship, we always advise our students to first gain more experience and a deeper understanding of the industry and master technical skills before delving into opening their own business. However, we have had countless students in the past complete a course and open their own aesthetic clinic shortly after.
This is something that CML Academy is currently working on to accommodate those that wish to study at their own pace. Online courses are currently in progress but have not been launched as of yet, but will be coming real soon!

When purchasing more than 2 courses, students can submit a video resume once completed their certification and can be selected to have a job placement in one of our corporate locations! The internship is 1 month and if selected, they will be shadowing everything in the clinic and may have the opportunity to work on clients. They can add it onto their resume as experience and reference
