Madeleine Oseyomon
Academy Director
With over 14 years of experience in the aesthetic industry, Madeleine is dedicated to elevating standards through proper training and best practices. Her passion lies in guiding professionals toward long-term success, ensuring that newcomers enter the field with the right foundation.
Madeleine’s career has evolved from a medical aesthetician to clinic director, and now, as the academy director, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of industry leaders. Having been a part of CML for over nine years, she has successfully led multiple teams to new heights.
Currently serving as a Membership & Growth Specialist, Madeleine focuses on driving business development across corporate and franchise clinics. She works to enhance client retention, streamline operations, and implement strategies that foster sustainable growth in all areas of the business.
Her expertise, leadership, and commitment to continuous improvement make her an invaluable asset in the ever-evolving world of aesthetics.
Ivana Lorenzo
Medical Aesthetics Instructor
Ivana brings over 14 years of excellence in the Aesthetic industry. Her passion and focus is upon delivering excellence and high standards in education and training for superior skills in the aesthetic and beauty industry. Over the past decade, Ivana has demonstrated extensive expertise in teaching Aesthetics across a spectrum of educational institutions, encompassing both private and public sectors as well as developing Aesthetic curriculum. Her guidance has also empowered numerous students to successfully establish their own med-spa ventures. Presently, she extends her knowledge by offering consulting services to diverse medical spas throughout Canada.
Alisa Pecchia
Medical Aesthetics Instructor
Alisa has been a proud member of Canada Med Laser for many years. Being an aesthetician is more than just a profession for her—it’s a passion. Alisa loves helping people feel confident by enhancing their natural beauty and giving their skin a radiant glow. Sharing her knowledge and skills with others is just as rewarding, as the world of aesthetics is not only exciting but also transformative. It’s not just about creating beauty—it’s about building confidence and empowering others to feel their best.
Michelle Leva
Cosmetic Nurse Instructor
With 16 years of nursing experience and 10 years as a nurse injector, Michelle has built a solid foundation in healthcare and aesthetics. After graduating from George Brown College in 2009, she worked at Sinai Health System, where she held various clinical roles, led hospital-wide initiatives, and mentored nursing students during their clinical placements.
In 2015, Michelle earned a postgraduate certificate in Medical Aesthetic Practice with honors, then gained valuable hands-on experience working alongside a renowned plastic surgeon. She continues to refine her skills through ongoing education, including courses, webinars, and conferences, staying current in the ever-evolving aesthetics field.
Michelle specializes in injectables such as Botox, dermal fillers, PRP, microneedling, and more. Her approach is centered on personalized care, focusing on natural, effective results that enhance her clients’ confidence and well-being. With her extensive nursing experience and aesthetic expertise, Michelle provides exceptional care and impactful results. She is excited to be apart of the CML team and to support the next generation of aesthetic providers.
Dr. Jonathan Wechsler
Academy Medical Director and Aesthetic Injection Instructor
In the over three decades that I have spent in Teaching, Practice, and Research in the fields of Medicine and Aesthetics, I have strived to provide leadership by example. It is my belief that trust is a value to be earned, and as a Physician, that trust is a solemn commitment to my patients, their families, and the medical community as a whole. To that effect, I have dedicated my career to delivering excellence in the practice of medicine, the teaching of medical sciences, and the advancement of patient care through critical medical research.
I have had the opportunity to bring several critical drugs to market through ethical medical research, with a research focus on metabolic diseases, HIV, and vaccine development. My commitment to teaching has been recognized with several honors and awards at both the University and National levels.
Additionally, I have served as the Director of Internal Medicine Residency Training at two universities and sat on Accreditation Boards for 12 years, ensuring the highest standards in medical education. I am deeply fluent in this area and remain committed to shaping the next generation of medical professionals.
Most importantly, I believe that in the short time we are afforded the ability to impact our environment, it is incumbent upon physicians to elevate the delivery of ethical, quality medical care. My current position allows me tremendous latitude and opportunity to elevate the community of aesthetic practitioners and enhance their ability to meet the evolving needs of their clients.
